I have been blessed to work with Francis Lincoln and Quiller in the creation of two books. It has been very rewarding to chart the family history through 1000 years and my recent project on the world of shooting has been an engaging insight into a world full of tradition and quality – it really has been a season of discovery.

A Thousand Years of Family Art and Architecture

In this book, the story of the house, its contents and its inhabitants is told for the first time by the Duchess of Rutland. Tracing the history of the 36 generations of the family who have lived there, she conducts the reader on a tour through the exquisitely decorated rooms and the fabulous collections of one of Britain’s great families.

Shooting Season — A Season of Discovery

Shooting Season — A Season of Discovery by the Duchess of Rutland and Jane Pruden guides readers through large and small shoots as the Duchess “goes behind the scenes to talk to the people that make it happen”. Quiller has world rights to the book, which was signed by Quiller’s managing director Andrew Johnston through the Barbara Levy Literary Agency.
